Not only is Carson Daly boring, but he also doesn’t do research (well… sort of). Yvonne Strahovski (“Chuck“) was on Daly’s show last night to plug her horrible new movie, “The Canyon.” Carson’s offenses:

• Didn’t know she’s the only one in her family who lives in Australia (not so bad)
• Didn’t know the name of Yvonne’s co-star in her new movie (Eion Bailey, “Band of Brothers“)
• Gazed into her eyes awkwardly for the entire duration of the interview
• [Talking about Googling her] said, “What I do… no offense, by the way… but I just click ‘images.’ I don’t even get to the web text. I just get right to the photos. And it’s all these screen grabs of you from your various little uniforms and costumes that you’ve had to wear from ‘Chuck.’”

What a creeper. No wonder NBC put his show through massive budget cuts in return for renewing Daly’s contract.

A dramatic title, I know…. But if you spend any significant amount of time on YouTube, you already know how ridiculous a lot of the comments are. I don’t know how many are inspired by insecurity, stupidity, fear, ego, or just downright hate, but sometimes it’s extremely tiring. I spent about 20 minutes watching random videos and selected the latest comment from ten of them. To be honest, these don’t even come close to the worst comments I’ve seen. A couple are funny, a couple are weird, but some are very aggressive and I do not intend for youngsters to read these. Use discretion with the lil’ ones, please.
